Terms of Service

These terms cover what TailTrials is, what you are buying, and what each of us is responsible for. Using the service means you accept them.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and TailTrials, operated as a sole proprietorship registered in Pakistan. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

2. What TailTrials is

TailTrials is a record-keeping tool. It lets you log what your pet eats during an elimination diet, record symptoms day by day, view trends over time, and export that record as a PDF to give to your veterinarian.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@tailtrials.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and the information you give us must be accurate.

4. The Trial Pass

The Trial Pass costs $4.99 USD as a single payment. It is not a subscription. Nothing renews, nothing recurs, and there is nothing to cancel.

It unlocks unlimited pets, unlimited trials, daily logging with backdating and editing, itchiness trend charts, unlimited PDF exports, and the full elimination, reintroduction and maintenance phases.

Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes. We may change the price of the Trial Pass for future buyers, but this will never affect a purchase you have already made.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Creem, acting as our Merchant of Record. This means Creem is the seller of record for your transaction, handles billing and applicable sales taxes, and appears on your card statement. Your card details are handled by Creem and are never stored by TailTrials.

Creem's own terms apply to the payment transaction alongside these terms.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund from the date of purchase. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.

7. Your data belongs to you

Everything you enter — your pets, diets, daily entries and notes — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your records as a PDF at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
• Probe, scan or interfere with the security of the service
• Attempt to obtain paid features without paying for them
• Resell, redistribute or sublicense access to the service
• Use the service to store unlawful content, or use it for any unlawful purpose
• Automate access in a way that places unreasonable load on the service

We may suspend or close accounts that breach this section.

9. Availability

We work to keep TailTrials running and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures at providers we depend on. Features may change over time as the product develops.

We strongly recommend exporting a PDF of any trial that matters to you, so you hold your own copy independently of the service.

10. Limitation of liability

TailTrials is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for loss of data, or for any decision made about your pet's health on the basis of records kept in the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for the Trial Pass is $4.99.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Ending your use of the service

You can stop using TailTrials at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to do so by law. The Trial Pass is a one-time purchase and is subject to the refund policy rather than to cancellation.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. If a change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
